Hi, and welcome to my blog.  I am a life-long resident of Pickens County and graduated from Pickens County High School.  I received a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s of Arts in Teaching degree in history from the University of Montevallo.  I also attended the University of West Alabama where I gained certification in Guidance and Counseling.  In addition to serving as the counselor at CHS, I am also an Adjunct Instructor of History at the Carrollton Education Center, an extension site of Bevill State Community College.
