PSAT/NMSQT

Thanks to those who took the PSAT/NMSQT.  We had 16 students take the test.  Scores have arrived at teh school and have been returned to the students.  As a unit, they did very well.

Mississippi Governor’s School

This is a wonderful program open to juniors.  You must be in the top 10% of your class.  You will receive 3 hours of college credit which may be used at any university.  Thanks to those who applied.  The deadline was January 15 to attend the sessions this summer.  

ACT Plan now to take the April ACT.  You may register online or pick up a registration packet in the guidance office.  This is the target date for juniors so it is important that you try and take it on that date. Deadline for registering is February 27.

You have received your copy of the College Handbook.  Please referr to the pages on creating a resume and begin working on this.  You should have a resume ready by the time you finish your junior year.  It will be updated as needed during your senior year.
